Dr Ester Yeoh is a Consultant Endocrinologist at the Diabetes Centre, Admiralty Medical Centre and Khoo Teck Puat Hospital in Singapore. She is trained in Endocrinology and Internal Medicine. She graduated from the National University of Singapore and thereafter, attained specialist accreditation in Endocrinology in Singapore. Following that, her fellowship training was conducted at the Diabetes Centre and Diabetes Research Group in King’s College Hospital, London UK where she was involved in clinical and research work in type 1 diabetes and hypoglycaemia. She has special interests in hypoglycaemia, type 1 diabetes, patient education and using diabetes technologies such as insulin pump and glucose sensors. She leads the Flexible Insulin Therapy clinic at the Diabetes Centre, Admiralty Medical Centre, along with her team comprising a diabetes nurse educator, dietician and a health psychologist.
Dr Yeoh contributes to training future specialists and doctors as the Assistant Programme Director for Endocrinology in Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University. Dr Yeoh firmly believes in patient education and empowering her patients towards improved diabetes self-management.

Ms Winnie Chui is a Registered Nurse for the past 40 years. She is a Certified Diabetes Educator and an Advanced Practice Nurse with special interest in Diabetes care. After her stint in the Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston, Massachusetts in 2002, she was pivotally involved in the Insulin pump therapy programme in the Alexandra Hospital, Khoo Teck Puat Hospital and later at Admiralty Medical Centre. However, due to some family commitments, Winnie had left her nursing employment early this year. As a person with diabetes herself, Winnie has always been passionate to share her journey in diabetes care, specifically for this round – the compass in Diabetes management.

Adrian Toh is a Registered Clinical Psychologist with a diverse wealth of clinical experience in healthcare and mental healthcare. In fact, he is one of the very few psychologists who specialize in addressing obesity, diabetes mellitus, and their comorbidities. In the course of his work in the public and private healthcare settings, he provides quality psychological assessments and treatments to improve the individuals’ health, well-being and quality of life.
Apart from being recognized for his clinical work, Adrian was also recognized for the contributing knowledge to the medical, surgical and psychology scientific communities. In the last decade, he was invited to present his scientific research and work on numerous occasions at international, regional and local meetings.
The vast specialized clinical and research experiences have equipped him with a deep understanding of the psychological needs of the individuals that he cares for.
